What is your service coverage area?
We cover the entire country – all states, major cities and regional areas across Australia. We service all major Australian cities such as; Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Canberra, Newcastle, Wollongong, Sunshine Coast, Logan City, Geelong, Central Coast, Hobart, Townsville, Cairns, Toowoomba and Darwin. We also provide IT support throughout all regional areas in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory
How do you handle coverage in remote areas that are far away from large towns?
For extremely remote or rural areas, we would as part of our contract, negotiate a travel fee with substantial drive time, to the closest available field technician. We have had technicians drive 2-3 hours to a job and back.
Do you have business insurance coverage and public liability insurance?
Yes ITG Onsite Technicians Australia, has both business liability and public liability insurance up to 1 million dollars.
How do we place service requests?
Clients can log a new IT Service Request in any of the following ways:

What is your organizational structure for fulfilling service requests?
All of our valued client are assigned a dedicated project manager, who facilitates technical contractors that report to him/her and are familiar with the specific needs of the client.

 

What type of ticketing system do you use? Can our staff have accounts?
We use a leading IT services system – Odoo, which has the ability to grant accounts to your staff members.

 

Do you retain any non public information, such as admin or network passwords, or require us to install agents to our devices, like a managed service provider?
NO, we are not a ‘Managed IT Provider’ in the traditional sense. We do not take ownership or co-ownership of your environment; we are strictly an extension of your remote IT support service and do not store any private data.
Qualified Experienced Technicians
National network of experienced Smart Hands Technicians will travel to you and resolve any IT issues that are keeping you from growing your business. We offer a comprehensive and on-demand staffing service nationwide. Get access to experienced reliable techs to supplement your workforce fast, eliminating the need to hire in-house.
What are your technicians' credentials?
All of our field technicians must have Diploma of Information Technology (or equivalent credentials), at least 2 years indusrty experience and have completed 50 service calls prior to working with us. All techs go through a background and reference check.
Are your technicians employees of your company or contractors?
All our onsite technicians are contractors with their own ABN/ACN.
Do your technicians have appropriate insurance?
Yes all field technicians conracted by us are required to have both business liability and public liability insurance coverage.
Whats is the repsonse time for your technicians to be onsite?
We offer our clients Response Time SLAs of 2 hours, 4 hours and Next Business Day for all onsite IT services. We can also schedule our technicians to be onsite at the best day/time that suits your business.
Can we assign a technician to a specific site that goes there by default?
Yes, however if they are not available, several backup technicians in the area will respond, or if the ticket is not urgent you may schedule your primary technicians for the best day/time thats suits you.
Can you provide us recurring site visits by the same technician?
Yes, we can provide scheduled support on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis depending on your needs and requirements.
Can you provide training to your technicians for our unique systems, prior to a project?
Yes we can; we conduct virtual trainings with our project management team, for onsite technicians designated for a specific project. We can also schedule technicians to receive onsite training at your locations, done by your in-house team. This would be an additional cost at an hourly rate.
